Where to Stay Near Levi’s Stadium for the 2026 FIFA World Cup
If you’re bringing the kids to a World Cup match at Levi’s Stadium this summer, start with this reality check: hotels in Santa Clara and the surrounding area are going to be expensive. Normal rates in the $130โ$250/night range are expected to surge significantly on match days, and some hotels are already requiring multi-night minimum stays. That said, if you book early and know where to look, you can find options that work well for families – with pools, free breakfast, and enough room that the kids aren’t climbing the walls between games.
Levi’s Stadium is in Santa Clara, about 45 minutes south of ๐ San Francisco (traffic depending… it can get up to 60-90 minutes). The good news for families is that California’s Great America theme park is literally steps from the stadium – which makes the stay a lot more fun if you’re spending a few nights. All five hotels below are within 2 miles of the stadium.
A quick note on the World Cup schedule at Levi’s Stadium: Six matches are being played here between June 13 and July 1, 2026. Book as early as possible, especially for match dates. Some hotels are requiring 3โ4 night minimum stays.
Expect prices to increase by 50% around the FIFA match dates. Pricing indicators show relative prices.

Tips for Staying Near Levi’s Stadium for the World Cup
Book now. Seriously. Hotels near the stadium are already requiring 3โ4 night minimums on match dates. If you’re going to a specific game, search for availability now and don’t wait.
Consider staying in San Jose or San Francisco. If Santa Clara rates are out of range, San Jose is 15 minutes away with better hotel selection, and San Francisco is 45 minutes with far more ๐ family-friendly things to do between matches. VTA light rail and Caltrain can get you to the stadium on game days.
Budget for match day transport. Even if you’re staying nearby, driving to the stadium on a match day is chaotic. Rideshare or VTA light rail is the move. The Great America light rail station puts you right at the stadium.
Great America is right there. California’s Great America is half a mile from the stadium. If you’re staying a few days, your kids will want to go. Build it into the trip – it makes the whole experience a lot more fun than just sitting around a hotel between games.
